Wokha District honoured four of its brightest students for their outstanding performance in the 2024 High School Leaving Certificate Examination. The ceremony, held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on May 10, recognised these young scholars who ranked among the top 20 achievers on the prestigious Nagaland Board of School Education’s examination list.
The event was graced by the presence of Wokha Deputy Commissioner, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, who personally congratulated the achievers: Nchumbemo Lotha, Ruth Y Lotha, Meriyani C Humtsoe, and Zaren Taslim Khandakar.
These students, hailing from Isaiah Higher Secondary School and Libemo Memorial School, secured the 7th, 14th, and 17th positions respectively, bringing honour not only to themselves but also to their educational institutions and the district.
