The Nagaland Users’ Network (NUN) launched CiTY BARN Wokha, ‘The Health Centre’, in Wokha Town on August 17. Vineet Kumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Wokha, was the chief guest. The event was attended by representatives from various departments, including Social Welfare, ART, Bharat Scout and Guides, Mental Health District Hospital, Eloe Hoho, NUN-LWS Wokha, NUN-TI Wokha, and DAPCU Wokha. Kumar highlighted the centre’s importance in addressing Wokha’s high drug user numbers. The centre will provide counseling, HIV and TB screening for youths under 24. NUN aims to improve the quality of life for drug users and those living with HIV in Nagaland.
