The Nagaland Private Doctors Association (NPDA) will join a nationwide solidarity strike today to protest the murder and rape of a physician at RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata. All non-essential health services in Nagaland will be closed from 6 am to 6 pm. Essential and emergency services are exempted. This decision follows directives from the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The strike is in response to the tragic incident at RG Kar Medical College.
