The Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) has strongly criticised former Congressman Bobby Panicker for his recent allegations against the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) and its members. Panicker, who was expelled from the NPCC earlier this year, claimed in an interview with NLTV that his ouster was due to conspiracy and corruption within the party.
Keviphreo Kuotsu, Working President of NPYC, issued a press release countering Panicker’s claims. Kuotsu accused Panicker of exploiting the goodwill of the Naga people for decades and highlighted his habit of making allegations against any leader he disagrees with.
The Youth Congress also clarified that Panicker is not a founding member of Congress in Nagaland or the Northeast Congress Coordination Committee (NECCC), as he had claimed. Additionally, it was pointed out that Panicker has left the Congress party twice before rejoining, reflecting his opportunistic politics.

The NPYC stated that even leaders from the All India Congress Committee (AICC) are fed up with Panicker, which is why they refused to revoke his expulsion. The Youth Congress also alleged rampant mismanagement of party organisation and funds under the leadership of former NPCC president K. Therie and Panicker.
The NPYC warned Panicker that they will not hesitate to take action, including picketing his luxurious properties and exposing them publicly, if he continues to defame the party. They also cautioned those working with Panicker to cease their activities immediately.
