The Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB) has announced a 24-hour withdrawal of services from August 17 to 18 to express solidarity with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) following the brutal rape and murder of a medical professional at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata. The IDANSB, in a press release, condemned the violence and negligence faced by healthcare workers, affirming support for the IMA’s call for action. The association emphasized the need for enhanced protection and respect for healthcare professionals, pledging continued support for justice and safety in the medical community.
