The Office of the District Sports Officer, Kohima, organised a “Har Ghar Tiranga” rally on 13th August 2024, as part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebrations. The event, which saw the participation of 200 students and sports enthusiasts, aimed to encourage citizens to bring the Indian National Flag into their homes, fostering a personal connection with the symbol of the nation. District Sports Officer Zhopovi Zecho stated that the campaign aims to deepen citizens’ commitment to nation-building and promote awareness of the importance of the National Flag.
