Oriental College Kohima celebrated International Youth Day on 12th August 2024, with the theme “Empowering Youths through traditional practices”. Mele Pucho, a music and beauty pageant expert, was the guest speaker. The event aimed to empower youths by developing their skills and realising their potential. Pucho stressed the importance of skill development and hard work, quoting the Bible to encourage students to be self-sufficient. The second session focused on traditional practices, with students trained in weaving, handloom, and handicrafts.
