The Naga Students’ Federation organised ‘The Naga Morung’ to commemorate the 78th Naga Independence Day under the theme “Kuknalim” on 14th August 2024 at the NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima. Dr Rosemary Dzuvichü delivered a speech, highlighting solidarity with struggling nations and the interconnectedness of their struggles. She reflected on Naga history, honouring pioneers and martyrs, and emphasized preserving culture despite adversity. The vision for Nagas Tomorrow aims to bring lasting peace, empower youth, and foster reconciliation. Examples from Timor Leste, Northern Ireland, and Rwanda were cited as models for peace and reconciliation efforts.
