Saturday saw the Toys and Naga Tribal Jewellery Cluster in Dimapur organise a ‘Buyer-Sellers Meet’ at Duncan Bosti, Dimapur. This event, part of the SFURTI project, aimed to empower local artisans and foster collaboration between entrepreneurs and craftspeople.
The meet provided a platform for ten local entrepreneurs from Dimapur to showcase their products, including Naga Tribal Jewellery, handicrafts made from wood and bamboo, textiles, and handcrafted toys. The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) in Guwahati acted as the Nodal Agency, whilst Bhavishya Learning India Private Limited was the Technical Agency, and Mind Blowers Club was the Implementing Agency.
Fostering innovation and growth in the traditional crafts sector, the event facilitated interactions between entrepreneurs and artisans. Discussions centred on sharing ideas for designing, product development, advertising, and exploring new market linkages. This initiative under the SFURTI project seeks to enhance market exposure and business skills for local artisans.

The Buyer-Sellers Meet was designed to bring together artisans and manufacturers, enabling them to exchange ideas and collaborate on various aspects of their craft.
