Dimapur, 21 September – MGM College marked a significant milestone with the celebration of its 3rd Graduation Ceremony, held in the college auditorium. The event brought together graduates, faculty, and dignitaries to honour the achievements of the Class of 2024.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of C. Khalong Ao, former Director of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland, who served as the Guest of Honour. Mr. Ao delivered an inspiring keynote address, emphasising the theme of “going the extra mile.” He drew from his vast personal and professional experiences to share motivational stories that not only shaped his journey as an educator but also encouraged the graduates to aim higher and pursue excellence in every aspect of their lives.

The event commenced with the official inauguration by Dr. R. K. Behera, Acting Principal of MGM College. Following the opening, Fr. Giju George, the College Administrator, delivered a heartfelt welcome address, setting the tone for a day of celebration and reflection. The presence of several distinguished members of the college’s governing body added further dignity to the occasion.
As part of the ceremony, graduates were honoured with certificates and mementos in recognition of their academic achievements. A highlight of the event was the special recognition of Miss Imyatetla Imsong, who was named the College Topper. She received her award from the chief guest, further elevating the pride of the institution.
