The Department of Social Welfare launched the month-long celebration of Poshan Maah at the Jakhama Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Project on 2 September 2024. This initiative, which runs from 1 to 30 September, aims to promote nutrition and health awareness.
SDO Civil, Jakhama, Nockpai Konyak, graced the occasion as the Special Guest. Konyak commended the efforts of the ICDS Project Jakhama in successfully implementing Poshan Maah programmes within the Sub-Division. He encouraged Anganwadi Workers to familiarise themselves with the objectives of the Poshan Maah programme.

CDPO Jakhama, Zubemo Jami, highlighted the importance of nationwide awareness programmes on Poshan Maah during his welcome address. The programme was conducted by Supervisor ICDS, Jakhama, Neitsilie Nakhru. Tabunuo Mere, SAA, invoked God’s blessings, while Block Co-ordinator Kikrukhrielie Nagi led the Poshan Pledge. Kenipheno LDA delivered the vote of thanks.
