On August 29, 2024, La Ganesan, the Governor of Nagaland, made a significant visit to New Delhi. During his trip, he met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari.
The Governor’s meetings were aimed at discussing matters relevant to Nagaland. According to Raj Bhavan Kohima’s PRO, the discussions with PM Modi at his official residence covered important state-related issues. Additionally, the Governor also called on Amit Shah and Gadkari in their respective residences.
