The Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship launched the second phase of the “Skill Training for Rural Women through the Mobile Skill Morung” (MSM) initiative in baking. This phase began on 19th August 2024 in Chozuba under Phek district and Jakhama under Kohima district, training 50 women with 25 participants at each location. The training was inaugurated by Savio Visa in Jakhama and Diana Patton in Chozuba, both in the presence of Zubemo Lotha Tsanglao. Over the next two weeks, participants will receive comprehensive baking training and each will receive a baking toolkit upon completion, empowering them for self-employment and sustainable livelihoods. The MSM van continues to promote skill development among rural populations.
